Beginning Tuesday November 24th, 2009, continuing through the Nob Hill Holiday Shop & Stroll on December 3rd, 2009 and at our Holiday Open House on December 12th, 2009 We will be accepting donations to help the wife, Aria Sutton, and children of fallen Albuquerque Police Department Officer, William "Bill" B. Sutton, who passed on October 27th 2009. Bill served in the US Navy, reaching Master-At-Arms Petty Officer 1st class. He was a Gulf War veteran of both Operation Desert Storm and Operation Enduring Freedom. During his service, he met his best friend, Ron Surran, whom he joined the Albuquerque Police Department with. He went on to become patrolman 1st class and on to Detective, where he worked with the CNAU- Criminal Nuisance Abatement Unit. Bill's adult life was devoted to protecting and serving people he never even met. Many, many people will always be grateful for the work he has done. He was on the force for 12 years.
